I studied many of the world’s religions between the ages of twelve and fourteen. I had accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour at age eight, but I wanted to make sure I had not overlooked anything. After all my studies, Christianity was the only religion that made sense. I continued to learn and grow in my belief system until I was sixty-four.

Does that mean life was always fuzzy and warm? Certainly not, but I had assurance that I was not walking through life alone. My Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit directed my paths.

I have had many friends, including members of my own family, who did not want to talk with me about God, sin, Christ, and so on. Some were nervous, and some were massively resistant. And yet, I knew that they had been called. God is always in charge of turning hearts toward Him. Sometimes, all I could do was wait and pray.

Read the following from Jeremiah 29: 12- 13.

“When you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart".

I can identify those of my friends who have been touched and are moving closer to accepting Him in their lives. And why not? Tell Him, dear friends, that you want to believe. Ask Him to show you the trIt. It's straightforward, and you may be amazed by what you find out.

For those of us who carry Christ in our hearts, I say to you;

Christ Jesus, who died than that, who was raised to live at the right hand of God, is also interceding for us.”

Wow, imagine that. Christ is at God’s right hand and praying for us!!
